Comin' home!

We high tailed it out of Mobile this morning just ahead of a thunderstorm. We stopped at Pickens County airport along with Mary and Juliet about half way home. Here are some scenes from our visit.

We ate at Yanks.

And the results are in!

In the end, we did really well and are very happy. We came in 14th place, won leg prizes on legs 1, 6, 7 and 8. We also won the "Southeast Section 99s Superstar" award for the team that had the best combined score on the legs that were in the Southeast 99s section - legs 1, 7 and 8. We are very excited and happy.

Our friends from Eastern PA 99s had an even better night. Team 15 (team Wunder Woman) came in 7th overall. Congratulations Mary Wunder and Juliet Lindrooth! We are all happy for you and proud of you!!!

Legs 4 & 5 - staying in Lawrenceville

We did a "fly by to continue" at the end of leg 4 so we did not stop in Kalamazoo. Thanks to all the volunteers in Kalamazoo. We are now in Lawrenceville, IL and have decided to spend the night here. Team 15, our friends from Eastern PA 99s are also here. We are going to go out to dinner.

Started the day with some Fruit Loops!

Took a last minute photo of the stop chairs in Jeffersonville. Thank you ladies!

The terrain is looking a little different on these two legs.

Some of the teams pose for a photo for the local paper in Lawrenceville.

Making our way through the town of Vincennes on the way to the hotel

After a great shower, it's time for dinner!

Teams 15, 35 and 52 went to dinner at Applebes.

While we were there, three more team came in. That makes six teams staying here.

On the way home from dinner, we found three more teams. That makes 9.

As we approached the hotel, we found one more team. So at least 10 teams are here tonight! Good night everyone, have a good night and safe racing tomorrow.
